These days, it’s quite a challenge keeping up with the constant barrage of so much technology, instant everything, Apps of all kinds and “talking heads” ... to name a few. It's easy to get the feeling that one is falling behind and, if not keeping up, may quickly become irrelevant and noncompetitive.
There is one important factor that the world around us tries to diminish. It's YOU!
You are not vulnerable, impotent, incompetent or incapable. Just the opposite. You have all the answers. You have a “knowing” about everything.
It's fair to say that we have become lazy and often ignore the powers at our disposal. We stay too much in our heads and listen to the clicking and rationalization that comes from our mind. That so often tends to be false, and it may paralyze us because of the doubts, fears and feelings of inadequacy.
At first, we must tap into what is casually called “common sense”. It is a “sense” that alerts us to what is the right way and the wrong way. Then comes our “knowing”, our intuition, that flash through us and reassures us that we do understand the truth. We know who we are, and that we are sensitive to important matters going on around us. We are able to discern what is unfair, unjust, mean and dark, and what is kind, caring, constructive, full of love and light.
When we pause and go to our heart, our essence, the dynamo within us, who we are in our spirit... everything changes. We regain our balance, perspective and confidence. As we ask ourselves any pressing questions for which we need the truth, the answers surface. How do we feel about this person, about the place we are in, about that message we received, about how we are treated, about what to do next?
It's so reassuring to know that we are not here on this Earth, haphazardly, tossed around like tumbleweed in the desert wind, without an inner compass, easily tricked, swayed and confused. We are powerful beings full of insights, wisdom and knowledge, equipped with extraordinary and effective tools. We must be sure to keep them sharp all the time, and celebrate YOU!
