- Hey, I’m hoping you can help me answer this question. I recently had a family member who received a reading from a psychic medium. At this reading she was told that her husband has a baby by another woman. Her husband was also told that that woman is his soulmate. This reading caused him to believe this so much that he almost left his entire family for this woman. The baby in fact was not his. The reading truly caused chaos in their lives. After the situation they have completely cut off any forms of psychic abilities, readings, channelings, crystals, spirituality talk and enlightenment. They now say that it’s all the devil, when before they were very in tune and connected to source. They now just look to religion. I fear that they have completely cut off their abilities. My question is when people seem to go backwards or turn to religion, is this in their soul contract to do so? Or was this an attack to throw them off from their true contracts of enlightenment? It’s hard to discern the difference between what should be, and what is set to simply take you away from me what’s truly your path.

@emilyyoung101 I would just like to politely add that maybe one of the many reasons this happened is so that your question would land here on Elizabeth's site. Perhaps this experience will help others.
