The Ego is the desire to be separate. So a separate soul or oversoul has to be Ego no matter how it may strive towards oneness through traversal of the chakras.

This is the desire for a separate identity.

In God there is perfect changlessness where everything is whole and complete lacking nothing. However there is also no identity. No you.

Here we see the two paths.

@nolongerignorant2012

I agree, thank you for posting,

I also think ego seeks "service to self" as opposed to "service to others" (oneness)

They have to keep us unaware of the non-evolutionary path. That's why they controlled the Jesus narrative.

They marginalized the Gospel of Thomas, the message of the Gnostics and A Course In Miracles ACIM.

They gave us Pauline Christianity.

This is not Jesus.

Yahweh was not Jesus

Paul was not Jesus

Jesus believed in the non-evolutionary path.

He understood the evolutionary path but taught the latter. The Holy Spirit the voice of God in the dream of separation from God.

It's important to see the differences between the two paths. We walk both.
