Overcoming fears...

Who doesn’t wonder from time to time if we should have more power and impact over our surroundings, people, and events in our life?  Waking in the wee hours of the morning, 3:30 am., as some of us do, is often a vulnerable time when thoughts and questions crowd into our mind.  There may be apprehensions about things that cropped up in the day needing attention.  We find ourselves pondering if we are making a difference.  Why am I here?  Is our presence meaningful enough for our family and our work?  Do we touch others as we intend, in a caring way?

It’s time to realize we have a powerful tool right there within our reach - Imagination.  (After all, nothing has been created without first imagining it).  Of all the scenarios we reflect on, we must move with intent and courage to visualize the very best taking place, just as we would want.  For those dear and precious people in our lives, we visualize them in the best of light and circumstances.  We see in our mind’s eye, loving exchanges with uplifting conclusions.

Fears and worries are an inescapable part of life.  One might say that fear is literally “in the air” we breathe.  There in the quiet of the night, or at any time, we can calm those disconcerting feelings.  It is with the power of imagination that we go to each of them - money, relationships, business, co-workers, assignments, career, health, negotiations, family and, yes, learning more from Elizabeth and our spirit guides.   We see each of them falling into a positive place, with us confidently right in the middle of them. 

In this physical body, we are, after all, hugely powerful spiritual beings, 'dynamos of energy', constantly radiating a vibration and a frequency.  Imagination is a part of that.  They are the thoughts with which we create, which followed by our energy, may then become reality.  It is the positive energy, the “light” vibration emanating from us that has extraordinary impact on everyone and everything around us.  It straightens out, improves and makes perfect whatever plans we set for ourselves.  It has a way of closing doors through which we shouldn’t go and redirecting us through new ones.  It has the power to soften, comfort, encourage and protect.  Imagination is also a force that substitutes light for dark and love for fear.

As we swing our feet over the edge of the bed in the morning, we may find ourselves in a much better place to cope with the day.  We’ve laid the groundwork.  We have the knowing that our presence in this life is very significant and meant to be.  Our contribution is powerful.  We are aligned and protected.  Whatever phone call, text, video chat, blog, counseling, training, or teaching we have today, we can pause and recall the thoughts, words, and actions we visualized and imagined. We “created” a good day ahead!
