What’s happening with the illuminated beings attacking the Ikitu in Peru?

As I understand for several weeks now natives from the Ikitu tribe in Peru are claiming that they’re getting attacked by aliens; tall illuminated beings that hover ~1 meter above the ground and can fly. A 15 year old girl was apparently attacked and has lacerations on her neck. It’s reached mainstream news. The villagers are scared they’re trying unsuccessfully to attack these beings with guns. Government has claimed these are illegal miners.
