What is happening in the Amazon?

In Brazil, a bill has been passed that will take away the rights indigenous peoples have over their land. This will lead to peoples home be taken away. It can lead to a genocide. Deforestation and exploitation in the Amazon will skyrocket. It leaves the way open for big corporations taking over in the Amazon legally. The bill came out of nowhere, there was no warning.
