Vatican
Elizabeth, that was absolutely wonderful and fascinating information regarding the Vatican in the Galactic Federation Summit.
Would you be able to ask the Galactic Federation for any further information, anything they would be willing to share about the Vatican?
Thank you. Also, thank you for doing the GF Summit when you weren't feeling well.
Where does the Vatican get its name from? It is not a Latin or Greek word. The name predates Christianity, and is derived from the name of the Goddess Vatika. About 3,000 years ago, the Etruscans ruled the part of Italy where the Vatican stands today. The Etruscans worshiped “Vatika”, the Goddess of the Underworld and Death.
The Vatican is a hill on the right bank of the river Tiber, of to opposite to the traditional seven hills of Rome. Before the rise of Rome, this hill was consecrated to an Etruscan goddess called Vatika, deity of the underworld.
In the time of the expansion of Rome this hill was outside the inhabited center and was used as a cemetery. It is ironic that the Holy Roman Catholic Church that slew so many people who honored and practiced the ancient wise traditions, has its holy centre on this space.

@lighthealer_arkie Wow. Thanks. Loved your information, insights and thoughts. Thank you for taking your time to write.
@lighthealer_arkie Just read more info and thought I'd add it to the pot! : This may be why that area was chosen- The area around the Vatican was a site of martyrdom for many Christians, including St. Peter. Many Christians living in Rome during the reign of Emperor Nero were martyred in an arena called the Circus, that was built in the Vatican area by the Emperor Caligula. And, of course, thousands of Christians were killed as a form of entertainment at the Colosseum which is a few miles from Vatican City.

- Etruscan god
Vaticus, in Etruscan mythology, is associated with prophecy and divination. The name is linked to the concept of being a seer or prophet, and it is thought that the Etruscans held Vaticus in high regard. His association with prophecy may also have influenced later Roman interpretations and the development of the term "Vatican." - Latin verb
The name "Vatican" actually comes from the Latin term "Vaticanus," which refers to the hill where the Vatican is located. This Latin term is associated with the Etruscan word "Vatic," meaning "prophetic" or "seer". Or the name may come from the Latin verb vaticinor, which means "to prophesy" or "foretell". This may suggest that the area was where soothsayers or prophets would make their prophecies.

Childbirth godThe name may come from the Roman god Vaticanus, who was associated with childbirth. The Romans believed that the cry of a newborn baby sounded like the first syllable of the god's name.
Its very interesting! I need to research actual Church records and see what the "official" history of the word is!
