Picking our parents

From what I think I understand,  these new starseeds are coming in with no Karma to clear? I thought maybe they picked us based on our lessons learned so they would benefit from us having worked though traumas so they wouldnt need to, but maybe they are picking specifically the parents they know can handle their gifts, or ability to be unconditional with them?
