What's the significance of candles?
Hi EA/All,
I was just wondering what the significance is around candles, as they are often used in spiritual practices. I was meditating with a (Soya based) tea-light last night, and with my eyes half-closed the beams of light looked amazing spreading across the room straight towards me, in moving, golden ripples. I got the sense of pure source energy from the source flame, but then my imagination often runs wild. 😊🤍☀️✨🙏🏻✨
@simonwatson It would be interesting to find out about the history of candles. For example, how long ago it was people used candles, etc. There are some people I follow who use a blue candle when presenting a webinar to assist the throat chakra/speaking skills. Anyway, it would be interesting to find out information regarding candles.
@elise-2 Good question, i think you can write books about it. Staring into a (little) flame, or into the night sky stars, the moon or any light source, has been practice since the beginning of mankind. It really helps focus, and the little dancing flame is never the same. It reminds us of Source, where we came from, and helps us distinguish between the external flame and our internal flame. But because it's a reflection it also helps us to unify the two flames, the inside and the outside world. Seeing the flame helps enormously because it's relative easy to imagine the flame behind your 3rd eye.
There are so many more aspects, like the special scent candles, each with different purposes, the (chakra) colored candles, even the location where you place it, the height... then the flame can dance north, south, west, east all with different meanings. The shape of the flame: same. Furthermore there are special purpose candles like ear candles with healing properties. Coming to think about this, yes there def should be books about this topic.
@simonwatson I think I already wrote; it is just thought of something else. I was wondering if you also put this question in the Ask GF. I was thinking does the Galactic Federation use candles. If so, for what purpose or purposes.
@elise-2 Yes that's a good question. I believe EA checks for GFL questions here as well so I am sure she will see that. 🙂
