The EGO

I came to the realization of thinking, which I believe, THE EGO, to be the part of the mind that is the result of programming. And without the programming we wouldn't have an EGO. I know and feel, I have a part of myself that has been programmed, which is EGO, but I also know that I have a part of myself that is my true self which is consciousness. Consciousness" is a connection and essence of Source which I have also concluded is unconditional love frequency.

I would like to ask our community if perhaps this idea resonates with them and if they would like to add to it pertaining to their own understanding of what they think the EGO is.
