I've seen quite a few channelers (mostly from the UK-not sure if that connected?) spray/mist scent/holy water/something on themselves before they channel. Does anyone know where this originated? Or what it does? Or even what it actually is?
@quinn I know some of them use a specific scent. One they've used every time they meditate. It helps them get there faster, as it recalls that memory. I used to work in the fragrance industry as well in western medicine & the olfactory glands recall memory deeper & faster than any other sense we possess (not counting the 6th senses, of course, this comes from mainstream science and from years ago). So it's an activation thing. If it's a specific spray you're asking about & I've misunderstood, I apologize!
@quinn I am trying to remember if I have seen others use these types of sprays. I am certainly not the expert, but maybe it is a form of sage, etc. to clear/clean the channeler and the surrounding area. Even if that is correct, there is probably more to it. It definitely would be interesting to hear what Elizabeth has to say.

One of my teachers would use Rose Water or Frankincense mist to help clear the area energetically and help with grounding before sessions.

@thiannahunter Makes sense! I'm not versed at all really but I usually hear about crystals for these things. I wanna learn more about the 😇 magic mists we can use! (did your teacher have a specific name for it? I feel all Harry Potter w/ my make-up name for these sprays).
