Living Organic Computers

I listened to a talk show, which I believe was on Gaia.com, where the guest mentioned that living, organic computers were seeded inside the Earth eons ago. The person said that some have died, and a few have gone insane due to the lack of connection. I assume that is from the Earth and humanity being in 3rd level consciousness for so long. I want to know if that is true, and if so, what is the state of these living computers? Why are they there, and what do they do? Who put them there? Is there something we can do to help them?
