Is growth INside the comfort zone possible?

Hey EA and lovely members!

What do u think? Is growth in any direction only outside the comfort zone possible? Everywhere u read that growth in any direction is just possible outside the comfort zone... Could this be a trap?

When I look at my kids I more and more know and feel that the more I can give them a comfort zone at any time the more they are able to grow. I know it's a complex topic but I would be interested in ur opinion(s).
