Iron Deficiency/Anemia

I once heard that iron deficiency comes from a lifetime as a faery, but I'm curious why do some of us have low iron and what is the message/lesson/significance. sometimes you can build the iron back up with supplements and it becomes low again (suddenly or overtime), curious about the energetic/spiritual significance.  Thank you <3
