Grimm’s Fairy Tales
This is a broad question but now that I’m realizing all the fairy tales are actually about REAL beings just wondering which ones are not real? I get this is hard to answer!! Thanks
I love Fairy Tales. There are so many from all over the world. Frank L. Baum wrote the original Oz books, which are considered American fairy tales. An interesting book is "The Initiatory Path in Fairy Tales," The Alchemical Path of Mother Goose. By Bernard Roger.
@quinn Thanks for asking this question. I would also like to know the answer. Also, why are a lot of fairy tales dark, etc.
@maggieanne Thanks I had not heard of the Mother Goose book - I'll check it out!
Did you ever happen to catch this series? The Emerald City. It lasted ONE season (booo!) but I thought it was so creative: https://www.justwatch.com/us/tv-show/emerald-city
Kind of like Once Upon A Time but just about Oz.
@elise-2 FOR REALS, right??? SO dark. Someone told me once it was a reflection of how hard the times were back then. (not sure why you'd want to burden your kids w/ that in advance - LOL - but ....hey.... )
I'm already showing I watch way too much TV but if anyone knows of any movies/tv shows under this topic- I'd love the suggestions.
I can't remember where EA discusses the link between our imagination & the astral realm, but it's my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong!) that if we can imagine something, it exists somewhere? So yeah, I'm curious as well! Does this, in fact, mean that every story is true in some universe/reality somewhere? Lions & Tigers & Bears, Oh my! What an incredible question! Thank you for asking it♡
EVERYTHING exists in Abundance. Every story is predictive programing. We live in a Game world Universe with a Virtual Fabric.
@quinn I started to watch The Emerald City last week but it was a bit dark for me. I will try again. I usually watch everything OZ. One that I did like and would like to see again is OzLand: This 2014 drama, fantasy, and sci-fi film is about two travelers in a post-apocalyptic world who find a copy of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The book challenges their beliefs, friendship, and survival. Sort of like "Waiting for Godot meets OZ". I liked that they found the book and it became like a Bible or book of prophecy for them. The magic book.
@maggieanne Nice!! Thanks for sharing - I'll definitely check it out. Kinda on a sidenote I just rewatched A.I. Artificial Intelligence & I'd totally forgotten - same deal as OZland! - he's using the Pinnochio fairy take as his journey guidebook. (hey just skip Emerald City!! No worries. Lots of stuff out there if ur not feelin it). But thanks I'm gonna check out Ozland for sure.
If you're still looking for a recommendation, I really enjoyed watching 'His Dark Materials.' The visual effects are stunning.
@starseeker Hey yeah thanks- a lot of my friends recommended it. I'll check it out! 🤩
@square-peggy Yes I have heard her say that as well. Ha ha Oh My! Is right.
