Do you have any advice for building discernment when visiting other realities, or receiving messages?

I really enjoyed your video on psychosis and schizophrenia - and wondered if you could expand on and give some high level ways to work on discernment when it comes to visiting other realities or receiving messages? Sometimes I receive messages out of the blue about someone  - and I don't really know if it's true, or if i'm supposed to actually do something about it?
