They have financial resources like hedge funds, same as ours. But they have the numbers (of people), many more universities, many brilliant people. And they don't only live in China. If you're smart, AI doesn't have to be so expensive. I just don't understand the nature of your question. Do you fear or underestimate the Chinese? Or praise their efficiency.
