What practices help you maintain balance when navigating between light and dark energies?
I would say (given what I've learned on this platform and put into practice) that I have tried to acknowledge the presence of such energy, expressed gratitude for its contribution to my experience/learning/evolution, and offered to share with it the divine light/love/truth that I have within me. The interaction usually ends there (but I'm not quite sure what the final outcome actually is for that energetic being).
I’d say practice is the key word here. I strive for balance daily. Finding that zero point is a beautiful dance. Navigating the light and dark energies begins with recognition. I practice feeling the difference between the energies for comprehension. I practice calming my brain when its lid is off and I’m about to give my power away. Calming is easier with practice. When I get fired up, in order to calm I try to draw a deep breath in, and when I get that started I remind myself that I am an energetic being existing in a physical body that has freewill and chooses Unity and then I can close the lid on my reaction and ask myself what I need to support myself in this moment. That is when I face darkness, when I face light, I try to remain humble and unattached as to not to become reliant on such goodness to blind me from reality.
When you see life as dark or light it can lead to extremes, but when you see life as light and dark then you realize that there is actually a large gray area in between.
