What’s the purpose of being old?
What are we supposed to be doing when we can no longer contribute to society, when we are elderly. There has to be more than just existing.
If Old People are so "Old", then why do Grandparents have the best Relationships with Grand Children?
When We Die, We Come Back as Children ❤️
@aquariussunmoon There are many meaningful ways to engage and find purpose, even when conventional contributions might be limited like sharing wisdom and experiences.
Thank you I understand and agree. I regret using the word purpose , I guess I’m just wondering how to help the elderly who are depressed and have lost their motivation. They think I’m a weirdo when I start talking about vibration and positive thoughts . They don’t want to hear it and are so stuck in the old ways, I should have asked, what can we do to help them step into their new phase.
@aquariussunmoon Every "elderly" has an inner child. Find that inner child, try to excite it, doing playfully things. It will spark their lives and rejuvenate the physical body. Make them laugh. One way indeed is to bring them in contact with the youth and vice versa.
Besides, EA said we are brainwashed about aging. There is no deterioration, 80 is not old, but we believe it is. Moses and many humans back in the day reached over 120. Healthy and all. Egyptians also. Just learn to master your kundalini energy.
Have you seen the tiktok where its a young woman who goes to nursing homes and sings? Alot of her songs are goofy yet catchy at the same time, definitely lifts the spirits of everyone in the room. Maybe if your having a hard time to get them to “be more positive” or make best of their situation, which at the end of the day is out of your control, id say YOU be the light of their day, by being bubbly, friendly, goofy, asking questions about themselves to encourage them to talk, maybe bringing little hobby/crafts so they have option to connect w things they use to do for fun if they wish to do so, id Say biggest one would simply be having good company and hopefully that inspires them to be good company to one another when your not there. I hope that helps (:
Also maybe team building activities/ games? So it encourages friendly interaction w other older people they are around. (Im assuming this is a nursing home or something of that sort) if not disregard that lol
These are fantastic suggestions. Thank you so much .
