Are there cosmic beings that have come to planet earth just to experience earth and ascension and not have a specific role to play?

hey steph8willow. when i was 12/14 years old (cant remember which one was it), one night before i sleep, i did some meditation/prayer and asked my guides to show me that if i am to do/experience anything specific in my human life. when i slept and during the dream, i saw myself inside a huge library, i was looking through scenes that i knew were from earth experience. i was shown scenes of disturbing nature like brutality etc and i felt this urge to wanting to do something for the people whom i was looking at that were suffering. but my guide came to me as the librarian and he said that i cant help everyone and everything, im here to see and learn. i hope that answers your question.
