Thoughts on "Medical Medium" Anthony Williams?

There is (surprisingly) no health, wellness, and nutrition forum so figured I'd post this here. 

Is anyone here familiar with / follow Anthony Williams "The Medical Medium"? He has been recommended by by other trusted sources of mine I follow, and he claims to channel a “spirit” that guides him to be able to read and diagnose people's health conditions as well as know the proper diet needed to heal them.

Any thoughts as to what "spirit" he is channeling (it's more of a possession than a channeling)?  The spirit identifies itself as "Spirit of Compassion" and to be metaphorically on "the right hand of god".  However, the spirit has referred to itself as "we" in regards to talking to Anthony, and involuntary possessions from my understanding are typically not benevolent, and such activities are not something evolved consciousnesses engage in.   (Anthony Williams can't shut "SOC" up, it talks to him constantly and never leaves him alone.  IE why I called it more a possession). HE is not able to commune with it at will, and it constantly speaks to him to the point where it has told him that other people in his situation have been driven mad. So what is this “spirit” exactly, and how accurate / correct is its information?  Why won't it allow Anthony to only call it forth when requested?
