This is a post I’ve wanted to share for a while. Hello all! Years back, I was watching a video clip from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. The clip was about Gandalf fighting Balrog. I have watched the movie many times. This time was completely different. What I felt when Gandalf fell was utter grief. What I felt was the fall of the angels, Lucifer and those alike. I felt the anguish and grief that the Angels who stayed with God felt when they lost their loved ones. There was polarity at its rawest, separation so vivid. It was shocking that I would have that feeling through a clip on YouTube from a movie that I’ve seen in full so many times. But it was different for some reason. Between the singing voice and the Fellowship shouting out Gandalf in grief, there lies the feeling of witnessing the truth that there was a Fall. I will post the clip and something random but helpful yet sensitive.
