Starseeds and Buddhism
Hi everyone, I'm wondering, are there any Buddhists among us? I have many questions.
But first, let me quickly explain, where I'm coming from for better understanding (comments on that are welcome, too).
Okay, so I came across EA around 3 years ago and was blowen away by the information. I fit in all the terms into her description of a Starseed and I also have ADHD by the way. So I was quiet excited and through some training with Patrice Krystofiak (some of you may know him) my psychic abilities got activated super fast. I channel, do energy work and more. But after I started doing sessions with people it suddenly all got too much. I felt like I was not ready and stepped a huge step back from everything, also EA. I went through another dark night of the soul, which seems to come to an end slowly.
So, by the time, my boyfriend started to practice the dharma and confronted me with all the Buddhism teachings and rituals. To me, it seems like a religion an philosophy full of love and wisdom. But somehow, my heart doesn't really feel it as he does. And quiet often I feel a strong resistance to dealing with it in general. At the same time I see many similarities and differences between Buddhism and the Starseed belief. Of cause, both head to spiritual awakening. But the Starseed thing seems more ego related, like "who am I?" etc., while in Buddhism they seem to miss the whole alien story. To make it short, I'm confused. I can't wrap my head around it and bring these two together.
I feel a deep connection and love to medicine buddha, also from Hinduism Ganesha and Shiva, but the religions behind them simply just confuse me. Any ideas, comments or insight about this are very welcome 🤗❤️

@evamartens0096 I resonate 100% with you! Nitpicking all good things from Buddhism. But I'm not a full blown Buddhist, just 80% resonating but also a lot of lack of knowledge. Well I'm convinced Buddha came here to spread the word, but for eastern society. For large masses of people. Which is very effective. Christ and EA are more for starseed individuals, for awakeners. Consciously raise our frequency. While in Buddhism the end goal, being there in this one moment without distraction is important. Seems to me more a cultural thing, as half Asian myself I see the benefits of large families/groups, connections et al, but also the lack of individuality, escape the mass way of thinking. Think for ourselves. So, both views do have their place. Thanks Eva for bringing this up ❤️
Thanks Arkie, makes much sense to me. There are always people who believe they found the one truth, but it's all peaces to the puzzle. I think it's very important to stay open minded for all those different inspirations while every thing holds it's piece of truth.
@evamartens0096 Just wanted to say I love the topic. Also, while I am not a practicing Buddha, I am familiar with some of the beliefs of Buddhism. In my opinion, there are many positive qualities. Thank you for bringing this up. I would love to learn more.
