Shiva
Hello EA, can you talk about Shiva?
Was he Anunnaki? Was he here to use our resources?
Millions of people worship Shiva and Shiva Lingam (his penis). Is there anything to be gained by this?
What does chanting Om Namah Shivaya do for you, if anything? Does this really cause Shiva's blessings to flow into your life?
Is he still out there paying attention to his devotees, or is he long since dead and this was thousands of years of mind control?
Thank you.
Lauri
@lauribonn Shows what I know - I thought Shiva was a woman? 😛 LOL
@lauribonn I like this question. Also, I used to say that chant you referenced. I can't remember how I came across it. Anyway, that is a good question - what does chanting it really do? Your entire topic had good points. Thank you for asking.
The Emerald Tablets are referred to frequently by various people, but Shiva's name, specifically, is not referenced in the context of Anunnaki (that I've heard). If anyone has heard him spoken of in the tablets, I'd love to know where I can find it. Thank you.
@lauribonn Hi, so i dont know the annunaki perspective but as a hindu who is still learning everyday more and more, he's a hindu god and as for chanting - we've been told his mantras - and because there are so many avatars of him people tap into specific energies and use specific mantras for different purposes. As in shiv and parvati are known to be the perfect couple so sometimes people tap into their energy to manifest a loving partner, kaal bhairav is a more intense so I personally use this mantra when I'm trying to overcome an issue , it said it destroys fear and creates a protective shield (and I found it to be extremely powerful for me) and then there's shiv stotram which is said to be extremely calming yet energizing (i listen to this ttoo when i feel called). Again I am no expert in this but giving you a more Indian hindu perspective. And as for your last question -its extremely common in hinduism that if anyone has any desire/ or want and if they pray to shivji with full faith he ususally answers your prayers, he's also one of the gods that dosent discriminate (hence there are mythological stories of literally demons praying to him like raavan and he recognizes their devotion too ) so yeah..
