I was an awakened and paid for the full month of Awakener. Due to unforeseen financial and family health circumstances I have changed to Seeker temporarily. To make sure I don’t forget to change for November, I changed it earlier with the expectation of still having access to what I paid for through October. I’m so disappointed that I was just cut off to Seeker with access to today’s coaching call and anything else Awakener is entitled too. I am not one to complain. Maybe it is my lack of sleep spending time at the hospital with my mom, but this being my escape to the bullshit in the world has just added to my list of what the fuck.  May you please not do this to all your members. It’s a bit disheartening… shit, gotta go my mom’s IV alarm is sounding. Maybe a blessing to get me to stop writing.

Sorry😕, I think if you change to Awakener right now you will have the benefits for the last few days left of your membership you were supposed to have without added payment, try and see. I would try that, then just take the credit card out because I see you want to make sure will not be charged. I guess it may bit a tad difficult to still leave you as Awakener if you changed to Seeker.

That's funny - I discovered the same thing 😮 and wondered if I should say something. It's not really poor treatment - its just that it operates in a non-standard way. Maybe that's how they do it in Canada? 

I went from Creator to Awakener (also financial). The standard practice is to allow the membership level to come to completion for the pay period (monthly) and THEN on the renewal date, whatever that is, the membership level would change to whatever you dropped/upgraded to. But mine was also cut the day I downgraded and I received a refund for the remaining couple of days I had had at the Creator level. 😫 Couple days, not a big deal - but I was a little bummed cause thats not really the standard & I wasn't expecting to lose access immediately.

This suggestion is convoluted - but since its a life-line for you - you were refunded the balance and you could re-up to Awakener for the next Events you want to catch - because it will not cost you more money. (as long as you cancel in the same amount of days you had remaining on ur initial subscription). 

There is an upside >> Who knows? Maybe it worked out this way because you'll get chosen on one of the calls, right?? ❤️

I’ve had issues as well. Also being cut off from watching GFL package I purchased which I should definitely have access to. This wasn’t fair in my opinion. I emailed CS as well with no response & missed out on coaching call this week. I Hope EA can get her customer service dept back on track.

@cat19 Nope.  I just tried and $9.99 membership was requested for something I have already paid thru.  What really hurts is the money I have paid for several workshops, videos, even $222 in jewelry.  Unfortunately, I am beginning to feel that money may be becoming more and more of a focus. That and likes on YouTube, as EA for algorithms purposes.  I am truly saddened as my interest here as pretty much come to an end.  Once I lose trust....  I have yet to be contacted with my customer support chat question which is why I have had to come to the forum.  Sad indeed.  For them, it's just a number, for me, it was valuable information I trusted and looked up to.  Good luck everyone.  I wish you well.  I enjoyed several chats in the forum.  Be well...EVERYONE!

I think the forum is lagging .. i have the same problem sometimes.. if i wait for like a day my posts will show up, but then sometimes i have made like double posts cause i thught i had missclicked and i made the same post again.. hmm embarassing xD

But i think we have a lot of qlitches at this moment on some spiritual forums and some patreon groups etc.. maybe the whole world is like trying to "choose a timeline" or something .. anyway i dont think it is EAs foult 🙂 

 

I have no idea if this works, but did EA not have a way to sign up as a seeker for free for 7 days? Maybe that would work for you? Sorry if it is something you allready tried and it does not work. I hope you get some rest and a break in life soon, take care of yourself. 🙂

@krosspaths TS simple question but did you communicate with the team about this, using the chat button? You should get what you paid for. They have to improve their protocols. I don't think the team is doing this on purpose. They are just not aware (enough). Or the billing system is flawed. Maybe @lynp-2 can look at it? I am 💯  they only want happy customers.

@zeriteri @krosspaths A while ago I had problems with my account and lost access to GFL meetings and workshop I purchased. All it took to get access again, was to write to them and add the purchase receipts. As this community is growing, I believe the load of emails is as well. Be patient, they will get back to you.

@silvastirna yes, I had a problem with one of the workshops I purchased as well, and also did what you mentioned. 
Truth is I have been having problems with the site for other things as well. I understand a glitch or two but it has been continuous… and that is just with me. Clearly others have been having problems as well. My head is not in the right space to have to be hunting down someone to make things right every single time there is a problem with this site. I believe I have been patient quite enough. Unfortunately EA has caught me at a venerable time as well, as my mom has now been transferred to ICU. I am only reading and writing here now because she’s asleep. 
I don’t mean to be disgruntled by they really do need to begin looking at these problems. I understand the community is growing, so is/the bank accounts. That is a reality. And when paying members are being affected and members bring it up, maybe the problems confronting the site is also trying to send a message. Don’t lose track of WHY EA is meant to be reaching out to people.  It is about the messages.

@krosspaths  JUST AN UPDATE: I had to downgrade to Seeker (I'm really scraping the financial barrel LOL) and this time I got a pop-up explaining it was immediate - so thats cool. Not the standard in America - but u get a notice now so ppl know. 👍 👍 👍  (and I get what you're saying about money, but honestly, suspect they lose a lot of money by doing it this way).

It sounds like from the above you did NOT get refunded. My refund was instant. I'm sure the'lly fix that for you.

On the glitch note- random I had 1450? light codes and it dropped to 0 a couple weeks ago? So weird. I haven't heard back yet - granted I did tell them I didn't even know what Light Codes are so it wasn't a big deal- but thought they should know. But they never got back to me either.

They may just need to hire some support ppl to help handle the load. Anyway I hope you hang in there a little longer. It takes time to find ppl, hire ppl and then get them on-boarded- I know you need help right now in ur current situation though. 

I hope you mom recovers well & quickly! ❤️

I’m sorry to hear about your mamma. I’ve been there and am sending you lots of good energy💕

The website has been messing with a lot of people. Please don’t take it personal. Her staff has been getting loads of unforeseen attacks, trying to cause problems. They are constantly fighting glitches and work tirelessly to correct them before they hit us.
