Need help understanding energy manipulation 🌌

I'm trying to understand "like attracts like" and "opposites attract" and how it seems like both statements are true. But how can both statements be true?

 

I understand, and agree, that "misery loves company" and high-vibes attract others with high-vibes. But it's also common for opposites to attract, although it seems like that often fizzles out over time. Even with a battery and positive and negative charge- when you put batteries in something the opposing charges need to be connected, not 2 positives or 2 negatives. And obviously, the batteries eventually drain.

 

It seems like these concepts intertwine somehow and I'd like to understand it better. Or maybe one comes before the other and then back again, I don't know

 

{This also has to do with me trying to understand the difference between jinxing ourselves and manifesting, which I tried asking before but didn't get responses. I understand the deep-seeded beliefs and how they can deter our manifestations if we don't TRULY believe we can have something, but like EA said in a video, when she saw future timelines and told others about them, it wouldn't come true, but when she kept it to herself, those timelines WOULD come true. And this happens to me quite a bit and I'd love to understand why.}

 

Does anyone have further explanations or resources to help me understand maybe the more science-y part of this? I probably don't even know all of the correct terminology or the right questions to ask - I hope this makes sense. Thank you!
