Monoliths appearing out of no where in US

So, a Monolith just appeared in Colorado out of no where. It looks like the ones that suddenly appeared in California and New Mexico. Does anyone know what these are and what they do? It’s super interesting to see.

Not sure where I got this from, was it EA? The monoliths are much larger in 5D and are alien indeed. I don't remember anything else, but they'll come and go.
