I don't sense a lot of reptilian influence in anime!
Hi everyone,
I'm just making this post for fun and to see what other people think. All of my friends were born in Canada, Western culture, and yet a lot of us ever since being young have been drawn to Nintendo and then Japanese anime. Some more mainstream stuff like Naruto or Inuyasha or Pokemon, now today there's so many niche anime so we all have our thing we like. I was having a discussion with a friend how interesting it is how all of us guys ended up being interested in more Japanese stuff, but a lot of people are interested in Western entertainment media like Disney for example. Not knocking Disney but I've only recently come to understand studios like this and Pixar do have reptilian influence, possibly Netflix too, it's just this vibe that it's not storytelling for its own sake or to explore new stories, but to try to influence the public towards certain viewpoints. It just all feels very icky. I think I realized this way early on and so steered clear from it, but didn't have the language or understood why I felt this way until finding out about Elizabeth and the mass reptilian control agenda.
So back to anime, I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm very puzzled and surprised and also a bit cautious at how when I feel into anime the industry, and also manga, how is it that the reptilians have allowed a storytelling medium as popular as this to go on so long without having co-opted it? I'm definitely not complaining, I'm just a bit surprised.
What do people think?
