Why are more and more people claiming the earth is flat?

Well I don’t know but I think someone joked about it and other people saw it as funny and added to it. Then critical mass was achieved. That is other people seeing it enough started to consider it. We are a highly suggestible people. That comes from allowing freedom of thought, or no thought at all. Just look at some of our politicians who lie as they breathe. They are believed by a large percentage of the voters. So you have clowns and gullible people and hypnotized people. Can’t give it a percentage but I’d say it’s a large percent of the population. Yes many 2 dimensional thinkers which might include some philosophers. You would have to ask them what that philosophy is, I haven’t got a clue.
Fighting flat-Earth theory
Physicists will find it shocking, but there are plenty of people around the world who genuinely believe the Earth is flat. Rachel Brazil explores why such views are increasingly taking hold and how the physics community should best respond.
In 2017 the US rapper B.o.B (real name Bobby Ray Simmons Jr) started a crowd-funding campaign to launch a satellite. The rapper, a vocal proponent of “flat-Earth theory”, wanted to seek evidence that our planet is a disc, not a globe. His aim was to raise $200,000 (later upped to $1m) on the GoFundMe website, with the aim of sending one or more craft into space to help him “find the curve” – the term that “flat-Earthers” use to describe the edge of our supposed disc-shaped planet.
The rapper’s quest may seem like a joke or publicity stunt. Indeed, there’s currently no evidence that B.o.B raised much money or got anywhere near his goal. However, in the last few years there has been an alarming rise in the number of people who, like B.o.B, believe in flat-Earth theories. There’s now an annual flat-Earth conference in the US – the most recent of which was attended by more than 600 people – while YouTube is full of videos purporting to provide evidence that the Earth is flat.
@hugo Well i am glad that they exist. It's proof that ppl are waking up and notice they don't trust the narrative anymore. Didn't EA said Question Everything, and Consider All Possibilities? Well they did. But EA also said Trust your instinct and use Discernment.
Maybe the Elites sponsored them or at least are using them to their advantage: all truth seekers must be loonatics, look at the flat-earthers! So they try to push us into a corner.

Personally, I also have the impression that the elites use this topic as a psyop to confuse, distract and divide us truth seekers. I have friends who are totally immersed by this hypothesis and have somewhat lost sight of the bigger picture.
@hugo I agree with you and @lighthealer_arkie on this . Because when truth seekers believe in something that seems a bit ludicrous then it means that ALL the things they believe in is ridiculous! Everything falls under the same banner. I cant see the point of lying about the shape of Earth. All I know is they are lying about the rest and that's true and that topic unfortunately distracts us all from the real problems!
I must add that I had many clients in QHHT visiting Cosmic lives and they always saw Earth as being round. Dolores Cannon had a lot of clients visiting the Cosmos and never saw a flat Earth. Even if Earth was flat (cuz maybe that is true who knows) then I'd like someone to explain to me what difference it would make ? Why would they lie about that? I mean what impact does the shape of Earth has on us ? All is know is chemtrails do have a terrible impact on us and I believe in that !
Meanwhile, as suggested by EA, I did a little research and came across an interesting flight operated by Qantas airline.
Flight QF28 departs from Sydney in Australia and flies non-stop via the southern route to Santiago de Chile in South America in approximately 14 hours and 20 minutes.
This flight also takes the opposite route from Santiago to Sydney.
If you look at the "flat earth" map, this flight simply could not be operated without a stopover.
Therefore, in my opinion, the existence of this one flight alone debunks the whole flat earth theory.
