Last night, I was feeling tired. Not only in my body, but also in my soul. I've been "soul tired" for years now. Most of the time, it's okay, but sometimes it's harder. Last night was harder.
Sometimes I feel like no one's listening to me Up There. That I'm always asking but getting no answers. Then I wonder if it's because I'm not getting the answers that I want or maybe I'm expecting an answer in a certain form and that expectation keeps me from seeing the actual answer. I don't know what to think anymore.
Yesterday, I felt like giving up asking for anything. At the same time, I knew it was just a temporary feeling that I would eventually overcome. As I was falling asleep, I asked for something. I felt a little bit sad and lonely and I said, "There's only one thing I'd like to ask, if anyone's listening to me. I would like a hug. A big long hug. A hug filled with love, care and comfort. I need it. A veeeeeery long hug. And I would like to remember it."
That's all I asked. And I got an answer.
In my dreams, a being hugged me. That being held me tight gave me that super big, veeeeeery long, loving, caring and comforting hug. It lasted for a long time and it felt so good an so warm. At some point, I also noticed that I was in space, in some sort of a gigantic transparent dome and I could see millions of stars. I felt moved by the sight.
When I woke up this morning, my old tired soul was calmer and I felt so much gratitude. I would like to have that same dream every night because it was very calming and it answered my question: yes, someone is definitely listening to me and that someone truly cares.
I just wanted to share this with you all.
