What is the rush?

why does the ascension of human feel so pressing, what is the rush? i understand we have taken longer than what was hoped. but what is the pressing matter that we are needing to accelerate the process.. and so many have come, are coming, to be apart of it.. also, very interestingly,  I had listened to a session of a past life recently, and according to that being from the spirit side, "they"(the power of everything) have began a new experiment, taking the memory of completed lives and lessons away from the being in spirit, a selected number of spirits who make up this experiment, and having them incarnate into lives to learn those lessons, to see if the process can be accelerated and and it has shown promising as before one life = about one lesson, spirits/souls are incarnating into one life and learning 4-5 lessons. this is due to "programming" related to our dna (im not certain on the specifics of this.. but a negative aspect of this experiment is "leftover-ing" from what i could understand this is the.. experience of learning the lesson is somehow stored and causes a fear of sorts. the concept is similar to imprinting. but more experience based.. i found this bit interesting but is besides my point of this post.. also those spirits who are in this experiment are on earth at this time.) why is there such a need to make the ascension happen sooner than later??
