Your opinion is welcomed - psychic reading terminology
Hi everyone,
I am curious to know what you think about using words as tarot-channeling. I met yesterday with someone who has given me her opinion as a long-time user of tarot readings for herself (to receive). She said that nowadays, it's not attractive or exotic enough to get clients by using the word Tarot or reading tarot cards.
What do you think?
Everyone is obviously entitled to their own opinion, but the conversation was around giving me advice on how to put myself out there to develop my business and get clients. So, it matters somehow.
I see the online use of such words all the time. I don't have a vibe that it is old-school, not trendy anymore.
She thinks it would be more effective with more mystical words. I don't only offer my services of Tarot readings and Channeling in English; French too. So, it means that I must find compelling terminology in both languages. Not necessarily idealistic.
Thank you for bringing some light to this.
Much love,
Nathalie Revin.
@nathalieroth-authorblogger Thank you for your questions!
Dont let anyone dim your light or tell you what to do and especially not let them put you in fear.
When they say something (like me now), just allow it, let it in (dont have the walls up) and whatever sticks, sticks, and what doesnt resonate or not for you will just go through, like a breeze.
Doesn't matter whats trendy. Try to feel into the different words and what would they create for you and your biz. Use your gifts too to determine.
Hope this helped, blessings

Words are used to tell our stories either tell ourselves or the world.
And through this, the law of "like attracts like" will prevail.
So your friend is intending to attract a certain client through the use of the words / stories that best resonate with them.
And so will attract like minded people who resonate with that.
Your words are your stories to attract like minded clients that resonate with you.
By not being true to yourself and potentially attracting clients that resonate more with your friend will not provide a sustainable outcome for your biz.
Your words should reflect how you "as a client" would what to read.
@nathalieroth-authorblogger trust your gut. Do what feels right to you. Don’t worry about that stuff. Be very authentic and true to yourself. If you need a tweek or two, here and there, down the line, for marketing, fine, but based on all of my gen X experience in the world, it matters far little than society pretends it does. I was a fine arts professor for 18 years, I also produced music, and was great at drumming up business for all kinds of creative endeavors. It’s about substance. Be patient as well. Have a few fires burning in other areas of life, so you don’t have to depend on one thing, especially something you are so passionate about. I liked teaching, but my art is and was very deeply personal for me, and I wouldn’t compromise, nor will I now, with regard to this vision. Same with music. I never wanted my art to be the sole source of income. Maybe I’m rambling, but I swear, I’ve learned a ton in all of these years, and it all comes down to being true to yourself.
