Human body + various activation points

I would love to delve deeper into the human body and how what we put on, in and near our bodies affects us. 

I was just watching a video on the third eye activation and the guy in the video (Ibrim Karim) made a very interesting point. He said that our ear is like an upside down fetus and each point on our ear corresponds to a point on our body (link to Chinese medicine). So any piercing/crystal near your ears would need to be very intentional otherwise you could mess something up accidentally.

This isn't limited just to our ears, so any piercing, tattoo, etc. can have an effect on our body. 

He also mentioned how Egyptians and other cultures use these body alterations to enhance abilities, heal and do loads of other stuff.

I would love more info on this!
