I can see grids behind my closed eyes

I recently started to see grids during the night. Usually around 3am. Sometimes I can see them randomly when I wake up, but most of the times it happens when I wake up from a weird dream ( when negative entities trying to get me that sort of dream ) 

My question is why do I see these grids, what do they mean and is there any connection to my dreams?
